My wife and I came upon this very talented artist at the Dogwood Festival. I asked him if I could take a picture and he gladly consented. I just loved the expression on his face and how “real” and “authentic” he looked. This piece also offered up a challenge - how to create the white hairs of his beard and eyebrows without using a white pen - by outlining each hair.
