Woman Fractured

The fun thing about experimentation is you often wind up with something unanticipated. This piece started with the idea of combining ripped, flowing ribbons and paint brushstrokes, then adding in the shadows created from those ribbons. With a bit of “scifi” added to the concept, using that shape as a template, a woman appears to be trapped inside the ribbon looking out.
